Greg Ward

Greg is both Founder and CEO of Revive Group, having successfully delivered business turnaround initiatives in a diverse range of organisations across Europe and the Middle East, utilising his extensive and varied professional background. Greg has substantial experience of managing large manufacturing operations and large customer service-focused operations. He is well versed in all aspects of engineering, quality, maintenance, security, control systems, personnel development and strategy.

Greg started his career as a mechanical and electrical apprentice, specialising in manufacturing. Progressing within Ford, Greg performed senior roles in finance, supply chain, project management, engineering and manufacturing, working with multi-site operations across the UK and Europe.

As Operations Director of Heathrow Airport BAA, Greg led the engineering and management teams of over 4,000 staff; managing 200,000 passengers per day. In 2008 became Laing O’Rourke’s Global MD of Manufacturing responsible for leading a global multi-manufacturing portfolio. He founded Revive Group in 2009, applying his comprehensive range of experience with a dedication to operational excellence to organisations recognise their lean potential.

Carrie Barker

Carrie is a confident, hardworking and dedicated CIMA-qualified professional. She combines a well-organized and diligent approach with excellent interpersonal skills. Carrie has helped and supported organization change programmes delivering significant return on investments, in a range of industries and sectors, demonstrating the drive and motivation to meet demanding deadlines while maintain the highest of standards.

Carrie has successfully led a number of projects to improve processes and generate savings and is a certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.

Prior to joining Revive, Carrie was Head of Finance for a major UAE based outsourced services provider, offering commercial support for many projects and services. Despite being a qualified accountant, Carrie has held a variety of operational roles at a senior level throughout her career in various sectors. Carrie has a wide range of experience in small local business and large multi-million pound organizations and that makes her perfectly placed to offer turnaround support to businesses.

Andy Phillips

Andy is a motivated, experienced senior manager with a passion for identifying and eliminating waste in manufacturing and service industries. Over the past 17 years Andy has specialized in introducing Lean manufacturing techniques to new industries and sectors, using lean tools to successfully to improve processes and reduce total cost.

Originally from an electrical/ mechanical engineering repair background, Andy combines his problem solving skills with an ability to engage and lead people at all levels of an organisation, to deliver lasting improvements within an organisation, its processes and people.

Andy has successfully completed projects covering all aspects of businesses, including safety, quality, productivity, cost, morale and environmental improvements, utilizing his coaching and mentoring skills to ensure improvements create a positive lasting legacy.

Steve Porcher

Steve is a Chartered Engineer with over 20 years business experience and a track record of delivering results in complex project and operational environments. He began his career within the automotive sector as a resident engineer at Nissan, Sunderland followed by leading new product launches with Ford, Jaguar, Rover, Honda and GM in the first tier supplier chain. He spent three years in the Telecommunications Sector where he programme managed the development of a 3g mobile network base station in partnership with Ericsson which successfully launched in Tokyo, Japan in 2001 – the first commercially launched 3g network in the world.

Prior to joining Revive Group, Steve was a Senior Operations Manager with BAA at Heathrow Airport where he successfully delivered a variety of business change programmes which encompassed organisation re-design, delivery of new infrastructure and cost reduction initiatives.

Steve also holds a degree in Manufacturing Systems Engineering and has pursued his executive education in Business and Management with INSEAD France and Management Psychology with the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

Wyn Griffiths

Wyn is an experienced general manager accustomed to operating in demanding and highly unionised environments. He has harnessed his previous experience gained in the aviation sector to provide leadership and management consultancy services at a senior management level.

In the aviation sector, he has a proven track record having led one of the biggest business units in BAA to deliver customer service, safety, security and financial performance improvements. He is experienced in the management of demanding stakeholders in the public and private sectors to meet tough commercial and regulatory requirements.

An engineer by trade, Wyn has provided services such as facilities management, operational management of a manufacturing facility, business development and General Manager with full P&L responsibility.

Bryan is an experienced manufacturing professional with over 35 years experience working with the Ford Motor Company in both Leadership and Technical positions, in diverse roles covering Lean, Six Sigma, Quality, Engineering, and Production. During the past 10 years Bryan has worked as a change agent focusing specifically on the application of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to promote change and professional development within organisations and individuals.

A firm believer that the success of both individuals and organisations is their ability to adapt to changes in their environments, Bryan combines his wealth of experience with a passion for helping businesses evolve to meet new challenges, developing a culture where people, processes and products are continuously analysed for further improvement.

Tim is a Security Design Consultant with over 20 years’ experience, firstly with Capita Symonds and then with Olive Group/Restrata since 2006. Since 1997 he has been the lead Technical Advisor to the UK Police Service and Home Office on the development and implementation of integrated security solutions to protect the UK’s critical assets. He was instrumental in the design and implementation of the National ANPR Data Centre which can register and analyse up to 50 million vehicle sightings daily.

He has a wealth of experience in the design and implementation of integrated security solutions within the law enforcement and transportation sectors including the London Congestion Charging Scheme, City of London “Ring of Steel”, Government Security Zone, National ANPR Data Centre and strategic ports and airports throughout the UK. More recently Tim has developed and implemented similar systems throughout the Middle East and Africa. Most recently he supervised the team assisting the MPS Olympic Security Directorate to implement security surveillance systems at all 2012 Olympic Games venues.

Alan Macleod

Alan has 30 years Police experience and over 8 years commercial exposure as a Senior Security Consultant operating in the UK, Middle East and Africa. He has a wide knowledge base in policing, particularly in Special Branch Ports, Counter Terrorism and Tactical Firearms. He is highly experienced in Security Risk Assessment, technical and physical security system design and development and is experienced in the installation, management and operational use of such systems.

Alan’s experience covers the full project lifecycle from agreeing client and user requirements, aiding the development of designs and specifications, to the tender evaluation process, installation supervision, testing, commissioning and ultimately the maintenance of systems. He is a qualified Ports Facility Security Officer under the ISPS Code, a Member of the Security Institute and has been security vetted to the highest levels. He is skilled at building sound and lasting customer relationships and delivering business requirements in pressurised environments.

An International Security Advisor on Policing, Port and Border Security, Critical National Infrastructure Protection, National Security and Counter Terrorism. John is a highly motivated, experienced and effective leader who has for a number of years been engaged as the National Co-ordinator within the Association of Chief Police Officers (Terrorism & Allied Matters) to provide strategic direction on all policing activity within the Protect and Prepare agenda in support of the UK Counter Terrorism Strategy (CONTEST). John is an internationally recognised intelligence and protective security expert with a proven track record in influencing and leading organisational change at a national level, designing and implementing effective security, resilience and counter terrorism initiatives and major crime investigations.

During his time with the Association of Chief Police Officers John was responsible for developing and delivering on numerous high profile and complex programme change initiatives including Safe Cities, eBorders, Border Management Programmes, National Analysis Centre and National Border Targeting Centre. Most notably during this time John was the Strategic Counter Terrorism lead for all aspects of Protect & Prepare activity for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympics Games and national lead for all aspects of policing relating to Protective security, improving resilience and Aviation & Border Policing activity within the United Kingdom.

Since leaving the Association of Chief Police Officers John has provided policing and security professionalism, advice and training on behalf of a range of organisations and Governments across Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Simon has held senior leadership positions in a diverse range of companies in the UK and Middle East with operations all over the world. Simon began his career in the construction industry in the UK where he held site and project management positions before leading a new division of a national construction company in West London. He has since completed transformation projects in manufacturing, security, facilities and services sectors with combined workforces of over 100,000 employees. Simon Joined Revive in 2009 where he has delivered training and leadership projects to some of the UK and Middle East’s largest employers, in addition he has successfully executed several large-scale performance improvement initiatives utilising a combination of leadership training and Lean6sigma to turn loss making companies into profitable, going concerns. Simon, now co-founder and Managing Director of our Leadership academy ensures we deliver on our promise of “Increasing profitability through exceptional Leadership”.

Lee is a former British and Irish Lion and England International Rugby Player. Capitalising on his experience of being an elite athlete whilst working within high performing teams, he aims to help individuals and teams reach their full potential. Lee’s exposure to blue-chip business, sporting and military organisations have has crafted his knowledge and understanding of leadership, communication, change management and strategic thinking. Lee has worked on coaching assignments throughout the UK, Europe, and Asia. He has applied his Elite Sporting approach to help individuals accelerate and manage personal and organisational transitions such as making the step up from a functional role to a more generalist leadership role, whilst modelling the desired changes needed in organisational culture and developing stronger presence and gravitas.

Lee believes coaching is the key to enhancing performance by generating a clarity of purpose and certainty of contribution for individuals & teams. He coaches and builds confidence through performance planning, which leads to transformational and sustainable elite performance.
