About This Project

Challenge
The failure of a lifting shackle prompted a full Health Safety and environment inspection highlighting significant shortfalls in the recording of statutory inspection results.

Solution
Revive initially undertook a complete review of the company wide statutory inspection process using a lean six-sigma/DMAIC process.

During the value stream mapping activity we identified 26 failure modes, waste streams and open loops that were addressed in a future state design.

Result
As a direct result of the Lean Six Sigma processes introduced by Revive performance levels were raised from 1 Sigma to 5 Sigma with clear evidence of compliance with H&S legislation achieved.
