A community regeneration specialist had been exploring the potential the application of “Lean Techniques” to their business and was keen to invest in a high impact and more sustainable approach to their project management.
The Revive team initially worked by Value Stream Mapping the business at a high-level to identify where processes could be improved. The team introduced business level and site ‘control rooms’, a mechanism for identifying issues and concerns in key areas such as health and safety, quality, delivery and cost. Data from site control rooms feed into the business control room to allow strategic decisions to be made and for the business processes to be continually improved.
Having successfully rolled out Revives solutions on a pilot project, bringing the work in on time and under budget, the scheme has since been rolled out across the business greatly improving their delivery to schedule and reducing waste.
