About This Project

Challenge
A leading business services firm was experiencing a significant squeeze on their margins and increased customer expectations across all of their offerings but particularly their facilities management business. They wanted to not only formalise a standardised methodology or processes improvement but also introduce a platform that promotes continuous improvement within their organization.

Solution
Revive brought our industry expertise and professional trainers into our client’s organisation to deliver a LEAN Academy programme, developing and training their existing employees in the use of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. Our specialists worked with stakeholders to:

  • Identify high potential employees to be included in the initiative
  • Deliver a range of different workshops and courses to ensure buy in from stakeholders and managers throughout the organisation
  • Ensure as little disruption to their business operations as possible
  • Establish projects with each candidate working towards their Yellow, Green or
  • Black Belt qualification that exhibit the new skills learnt and provide an identifiable reduction in cost
  • Provide regular one to one mentoring sessions with an experienced Lean Six
  • Sigma Blackbelt throughout each delegates project

Result
As a result of the projects carried out by employees alone savings in excess of $4.5m have been achieved with additional cost reduction achieved by individuals employing their newly acquired Lean and Six Sigma techniques outside of their specific projects.
